Join us for a ride on the Fox River Trail and Illinois Prairie Path between St. Charles and West Chicago. We'll start at the St. Charles library and head north on the Fox River Trail to ride down the "big hill" at the river in South Elgin. Then we'll ride the Elgin branch of the Illinois Prairie Path to West Chicago where we'll ride the Geneva spur of the Illinois Prairie Path back to the Fox River and St. Charles. Mostly limestone. Most of the hills are gentle, if long. Steep hills will mostly be downhill. We'll ride 25 to 30 miles. Casual ride, no one left behind. Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
