Fox River Trail - Dundee to Bartlett
October 4, 2025
9:00 AM

We may see 90 degrees in October so we'll ride the Fox River Trail because it has nice shade. We'll ride south from the Depot in East Dundee. We'll head to the Bartlett Nature Center and then Duerr Preserve south of South Elgin. All paved (except for short stretches
near the Bartlett Nature Center and the Trolley Museum), and mostly flat, except for a few "rollers" south of Elgin on the return. Easy to turn around sooner if time or energy are a concern.

Casual ride, no one left behind.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.

Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.

Starting Location:
Dundee Depot (319 N River St, East Dundee)

Distance: 25 miles
Average Speed: 10-12 mph
Leader: Wayne (heinmiller.il@prodigy.net)
