We'll start near the Wisconsin border and ride south to Independence Grove and return, a 30 mile ride.
This trail is a very high quality limestone trail. It is wide and well
maintained. There are some brief shady sections. It is not a rail trail but the only significant hills are under and over passes. We'll start at the Russell Road entrance for Van Patten Woods Preserve.
The trail is well marked so it is easy to ride at your own pace or turn
around sooner if you prefer.
Casual ride. No one left behind.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
