Let's continue the rest of the way on the Salt Creek Greenway. Last Saturday some of you rode to Cricket Creek in Addison, which is where I'll be starting this ride on Saturday, October 6 at 9:15 am. (9:00 arrival to sign-in). We will be riding on the Salt Creek Greenway from Cricket Creek Forest Preserve in Addison to Brookfield Zoo and back. The distance is approximately 34 miles round trip. Speed will be roughly 10-12 mph. The trail is mostly paved, with some sections on the street and a very small section on gravel.
We will stop at the zoo entrance for an extended rest stop/bathroom break…..but we will not actually enter the zoo or need to pay an entrance fee. There will also be rest stops along the way. On the return portion of the ride we will stop for lunch, with options being Jason’s Deli or The Protien Bar, or a lunch you bring yourself.
As of now there is rain in the forecast for Saturday that I hope is going to change, but I'll update the ride status on Friday so watch your emails.

-Take 290 East
-Exit 83 South
-Lake Street West
-Left/South on Villa Avenue/Wood Dale Road
-Fullerton Avenue will be the first traffic light – make a left. Parking will be on the left.
