Ride Fox River Trail, Waukesha, WI
September 6, 2018
10 am

Join me for a ride on the Fox River Trail a little further north than usual.
I'll be riding along the river in Waukesha, WI. This is a mix of downtown
trails along the river, rides through suburban and county parks. We'll also
enjoy a portion of the Glacial Drumlin Trail.

Where: Shurts Environmental Center, 810 W. College Ave, Waukesha, WI
What: Ride the Fox River Trail and a portion of the Glacial Drumlin Trail,
about 20 miles total (paved trails)
When: 10 AM, Thursday, September 6 (Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign
in and prepare)
How: Casual speed, no one left behind

Directions: Take US 12 West past Lake Geneva to I-43 North. Exit at
WI-164/Big Bend and make a left. Follow the road into Waukesha. Turn left
on College Ave (traffic light) and follow to the nature center on the right.
About 2 hours from Schaumburg.

I plan to stop for lunch at Jersey Mike's later in the ride, or somewhere
else that is acceptable to everyone.

If you want more miles, you can ride another 10 miles to Dousman on the
Glacial Drumlin Trail. (The trail is paved until Dousman, where it becomes
limestone.)

The attached map shows the Fox River Trail (teal blue) and Glacial Drumlin
Trail (purple). The nature center is in the center where the teal, purple
and red trails meet.

Let me know you are coming so I don't leave without you.
