I hope some of you can join me on Wednesday, Aug.1 at 9:30 to ride the Fox River Trail from the Gail Borden library in Elgin (270 N. Grove) to the gazebo in Crystal Lake. Distance approximately 30 miles. Average speed 10-12 mph. Faster riders can go ahead. No one left behind.
Plan to arrive at Gail Borden Lbrary at 9:15 to sign in, get bikes ready, etc. We'll depart at 9:30 and will stop at the East Dundee depot (319 N. River St) for anyone who wants to join us there. We'll depart from East Dundee at 10:00. We'll stop at the gazebo for snacks, then return south. I'm not planning to have lunch, but there are options in East Dundee, for anyone who wants to do that.
