There is a new connection trail in Crystal Lake. We'll use the connector to ride from the Prairie Trail (Fox River Trail) to McHenry Community College and back. We'll make a detour through Three Oaks on the return.
Where: Town Park, Algonquin
When: Saturday, June 16, 9:30 am (Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare and sign in)
What: Ride to Crystal Lake on the Prairie Trail and then to McHenry Community College and return. Optional leg through Three Oaks park on the return. About 20 miles.
How: Casual pace, no one left behind
Riders can add a five mile leg to Carpentersville and five miles back after the main ride to get some extra miles if desired.
Directions to Town Park: Algonquin Rd/Rt 62 west to downtown Algonquin. Left on Main St. Right on Washington. Go to the park at the end of the street. About 30 minutes from Schaumburg.
I'll send out a weather update by 7 AM on Saturday morning.
