Come join me for a 28-30ish mile ride in Palatine. All paved trails and side streets. We will meet at Deer Grove East (which is an entrance off of Dundee Road in Palatine). Deer Grove East is west of Hicks Road and East of Smith Road. When you get to Deer Grove East, go past the entire first parking lot. You will come to a stop sign. Go past the stop sign and keep going to the left. You will see a bathroom to the left (NOT THE RIGHT). We will meet at the bathroom to the left.
We will ride the Palatine Trail to Twin Lakes (take a bathroom stop there), and we will then ride side streets, etc., to Harper College and get onto their path. We will take another stop at an outdoor bathroom at Harper (anyone who brought a quick snack - now is the time to eat it), before heading back to Deer Grove East. This is an actual loop. We will not be going back the same way we came, so you have to be able to do 28-30 miles. The pace will be 11-13 mph.
Meet at Deer Grove East parking lot ahead of time so we are ready to ride at 9:00.
