Two Part Ride-Saturday

start by riding north and into the Botanic Gardens for a quick restroom break only. Then we will exit the Gardens and complete the north section loop which is around 18 miles. This should put us back at the parking lot for Harms Woods around 11:20 a.m. (or so). We will have another short break during which time you may want to eat a snack and any riders wanting to do only the south section will have a chance to sign in. Then we will start heading south on the trail. This loop will take us down past Caldwell and Devon onto the newer 2 mile extension of the trail. There are park restrooms along the way so we can take breaks as needed. On the return trip, we will take the short side path from Bunker Hill Forest Preserve over to Devon, to eat lunch at the original Super Dawg. This section will be about 18 miles total. This will make the total mileage around 35 miles but with the breaks, I think it will be very doable. Casual pace with no one left behind. This is a very well marked paved trail so faster riders welcome to ride ahead. I will be leading from behind per usual. Starting Location:
parking lot for Harms Woods (Groves 5 & 6) at 9:15 a.m. to get your bike ready to ride. The lot entrance is located on Harms Rd. just north of Golf Rd. Take Golf Rd. east to Harms Rd., turn north (left) onto Harms Rd.and at the first light (Old Orchard Rd.) turn left into the parking lot where we will meet.
