I am leading a ride tomorrow (July 1) from Frontier Park in Arlington Heights at 8 am. Frontier Park is less than a mile east of Route 53 and a block off of Palatine Road. Official address for Frontier Park is 1933 N. Kennicott Drive, Arlington Heights. This route is about the same that I did a few weeks ago, but starting at a different start point. Since Palatine has their 4th of July Parade tomorrow, I need to get through downtown Palatine before 10 am. My ride is at a pace of about 12/13 mph and about 26 miles. No lunch stop - a couple of water/bathroom stops. This is all paved, so road bikes are fine.
