Roun Da Manure ride August 20
August 20, 2016
9 am

This is a community-based and organized ride on the roads and trails around Sharon, Wi. Sharon is a town on the Illinois/Wisconsin state line just north and west of Harvard, Il. There are various distance options available ranging from 17 to 67 miles. Most of us do the 44 mile option. The ride starts between 7:30 and 10, we should gather together at Goodland Park in Sharon no later than 8:45, ready to go by 9. There is a $25 fee, and that also includes a Pig roast lunch in Sharon as well as tickets for the various ice cream stops along the ride route.

Sharon is about a 2 hour drive from our area - to get there, I usually take Rt 14 (Northwest Hwy) all the way to Harvard, and then go across the state line to Wisconsin Hwy 67, turn left and go a few miles west to Sharon. As you enter Sharon, make a left turn on Park Ave. and go a couple of blocks south to Goodland Park. There is a ball field to your right - turn on Church St. to park in the ball field. You should be able to see friends at this point, and the registration is in the park shelters there.
