It is still April so many restrooms are not yet open and limestone trails may still be a bit soupy. So join us for a ride from Elgin heading north on the Fox River Trail/Prairie Trail. I plan to ride to Algonquin (20 miles round trip). All paved, mostly flat. Casual ride, no one left behind.
Your option to turn around sooner depending on your available time and energy since you can't get lost on the way back. (Turn around in Dundee for 10 miles.) You can also start with us from the Dundee Depot at about 10:00 AM, giving 10 miles to Algonquin and back.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
