Another update! CANCELED due to wet trails.
LATER START TIME! Now 9:00 AM. (After the rain)
We are riding Saturday on the North Branch (all paved) River Trail. Mostly flat. We are starting at 8 am. The trail gets pretty busy later in the morning, so starting at 8 should avoid that. This is a 26 mile ride (more if anyone wants to do an extra loop of 4.4 miles). This is an out and back, so you can do less miles if you want.
Casual ride. No one left behind.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
Starting Location:
Skokie Lagoons Tower Road Boat Launch (Just west of Kayak Rentals at 1770 Tower Rd, Winnetka) Take I-290/Rt53 north to Dundee Rd east, right on Skokie Blvd, left on Tower Rd. First parking lot after crossing I-94.
