Take a break from holiday festivities for the weekend and join us on a ride on the Prairie Trail from Whispering Oaks Park in McHenry to North Branch park near Richmond. Route is about 2/3 limestone trail and about 25 miles round trip and mostly flat. The Prairie Trail is the continuation of the Fox River Trail.
Casual ride. No one left behind.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
Starting Location:
Fort McHenry in Whispering Oaks Park (4300 Front Royal, McHenry) North to Route 120/Elm St, then west/left to Whispering Oaks Park across from IHop in McHenry. (Turn south on Front Royal Dr through the arches.)
