Larry will lead the ride to Volkening Park where the brick was laid in Howard's honor. ( 1.2miles) We will decide if we will ride further after honoring Howard.
If anyone would like to share a story or fond memory they can do so at that time. Anna, Howard’s wife will attend. The group that attends will decide if we ride more miles.
If you did not have the honor of knowing Howard he was a beloved member of the Schaumburg Bicycle Club for many years. He passed away last September.
We will meet in the parking lot by Oberweis Dairy in the Town Square shopping center at Schaumburg and Roselle Roads.
Casual ride, no one left behind.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bikes are expected to be in good condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
