As long as our weather holds out we will keep riding!
Please join us Saturday at 9:00 for a ride from the Prisco Center in North Aurora down the Fox river to the Virgil Gilman Nature Trail then West to Waubonsee College and return. Around 30 miles 99% paved. This is a beautiful ride, gentle rises, mostly flat except for a couple of overpasses. There are a lot of interesting bridges on this ride and if the leaves don’t all drop at once we will have great color!
The Prisco Center is at 150 W. Illinois avenue in North Aurora. It is at the intersection of RT 31 and W. Illinois avenue. Clean bathrooms at the center and at our turn around point.
The turn around point is a clean gas station with snacks etc.
Around 39 minutes from Schaumburg. No one left behind 10-12 mph
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
