Join us SATURDAY MORNING for a ride from the Depot in East Dundee to Woodstock for lunch at Culver's. This is about a 40 mile round trip on all paved trail. We'll ride from the Depot to Veteran Acres Park in Crystal Lake (about 10 miles), then west to McHenry County College (about 5 miles), and then on to Woodstock (about another 5 miles). This is a fairly straight forward out and back ride. The route is mostly flat with a couple hills and overpasses. We will be re-grouping at several locations along the way in an effort to keep the group (somewhat) together. We're shooting for a casual
pace ride at about 10 - 12 MPH.
(Don't feel like the full distance? You can turn around in Algonquin for 10 miles or Crystal Lake for 20 miles. Or meet us in Algonquin about 9:30 AM
or Crystal Lake gazebo around 10:00 AM. Lots of options. Let us know your plans.)
We'll take a detour through Crystal Lake. They are having a festival
downtown. (Johnny Appleseed Festival) Or you can stop to visit the festival on the way back.
Please park at the south end of the depot parking lot to leave space for the
farmer's market patrons.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.

East Dundee Depot ((319 N. River Street. East Dundee) Higgins/Rt-72 west to River Street. Right to the Depot.
