Gilman Trail (Aurora)

We'll ride the Virgil Gilman Trail through Aurora on Saturday morning. The trail is flat (except for a couple overpasses), mostly shady, and paved except for a short section. We'll start at the visitor center in Phillips Park. Restrooms will be open there. We'll ride through Aurora, cross the Fox River, and end at Waubonsee Community College before returning the way we came.

Casual ride. No one left behind.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.

Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.

Directions: Route 59 south to Ogden Ave/Route 34. Right on Ogden. 3 miles to Montgomery Rd. Right on Montgomery. Make a right on Howell (traffic light). Right on Parker/Ray Moses to enter the park. Park on the right across the street from the visitor center (Mastodon Gallery). About an hour from the clock tower in Schaumburg.
