This ride will be a very casual ride. We will be riding mostly city streets from Rolling Meadows to Long Grove. We will ride a few local trails. The only thing that is not paved is a very short road when we get to Long Grove. I have ridden my bike on this road several times. If anyone feels unsafe we can walk through this area.
What to bring: water bottle, bike lock, money and make sure you have an emergency contact on you. Since we will have a lot of stop and go I'm estimating this ride will take around three hours. Of course anything can happen on a bike ride. No flat tires please. Please wear bright clothes or anything that makes you visible to motorists and other cyclists
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
