CANCELED due to rain forecast.
Let's ride the Fox River Trail from Geneva to Aurora on Saturday morning. This paved trail is mostly flat and there are several places where we can count on restrooms (or a warm building) if needed.
Casual ride, no one will be left behind.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bikes are expected to be in good condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
Expect temps in the 50s. (Dress appropriately.) Rain is forecasted for Saturday, but I'm hoping it will hold off until the afternoon. I'll cancel by 7 AM if it looks like rain for our ride.
Starting Location:
Fabyan Forest Preserve, Windmill Parking Lot (1500 Crissey Ave, Batavia) Rt 59 south. Right on Stearns Rd. Continue on Rt 25 through St. Charles and Geneva to the windmill.
