9:00 AM

Join us for a ride south from Algonquin on the Fox River Trail. We'll ride to Philip State Park in Bartlett and return. The route is mostly shady and paved except for about half a mile into the state park (limestone). We'll cover about 30 miles (umless you choose to return after Dundee or Elgin). It is expected to be warm (upper 80s) but mostly cloudy. Restrooms and water will be available in Algonquin, Dundee, Elgin and Bartlett.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.

Casual ride. No one left behind.

Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water.

Starting Location:
Towne Park, Algonquin (320 Washington St, Algonquin) Because of construction in Algonquin it is recommended taking Higgins/Rt 72 to Dundee, then Rt 31 north. Turn right on Main St in Algonquin then left on Washington and to the park at the end of the street past the church.

Distance: 30 miles
Average Speed: 10-12 mph
Leader: Wayne (heinmiller.il@prodigy.net)
