CANCELED DUE TO RAIN
Join us for a ride on the Fox River Trail from the library in Elgin to the gazebo in Crystal Lake and return. Trail is paved the entire distance and is mostly shaded. It is flat except for one hill in Algonquin and an overpass in Crystal Lake. We'll start at 9 AM and hope to beat the heat. (Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.) You can turn around in Dundee (10 miles) or Algonquin (20 miles) if you prefer.
Casual ride. No one left behind.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements).
Starting Location:
Gail Borden Library in Elgin (270 N Grove, Elgin. Meet in parking lot near Ann Street) Golf/Rt 58 west to Grove Street. Left to library.
