We will ride the North Branch River Trail - all paved - 13 miles one way, and then turn around and come back 13 miles. It is an out and back, so if you come and don’t want to do the entire 26 miles, you can turn around when you want. Quick snack (that you bring yourself) and water break at the end of the 13 miles (before turning around). Other water breaks on demand.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bikes are expected to be in good condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water.
Starting Location:
Skokie Lagoons Tower Road Boat Launch (Just west of Kayak Rentals at 1770 Tower Rd, Winnetka) Take I-290/Rt53 north to Dundee Rd east, right on Skokie Blvd, left on Tower Rd. First parking lot after crossing I-94.
