This is a loop ride, so once you start, you need to finish. It is not an out and back ride. I do this ride once every year, so some of you may be familiar with it. We will do a 3/4 loop around Deer Grove and then 9 miles on the Palatine Trail to Twin Lakes and on to and around Harper College and along side streets to get back to Deer Grove. No snack/lunch stop along the ride. A couple of quick water breaks/bathroom stops along the way.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bikes are expected to be in good condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water.
Starting Location:
Deer Grove Forest Preserve, east section near the restrooms. Entrance is on Dundee Rd across from Pepper Tree Dr (just west of Hicks). Take the branch to the left in the park.
