Hello SBC Members,
The rumor is we have quite a few SBC Members who would like to ride a little bit faster so you have a choice of what ride you want to go on Sunday. This ride will have some hills. Here are the details:
Time----------9:00 AM
When---------Sunday, May 2nd
Distance------22 to 25 miles
Average speed--12 to 13 mph. (We are not racers)
Where--------Meet at Barrington High School
Barrington, Illinois
616 W. Main Street (Main turns into Lake Cook Road) If coming in the other way Lake Cook Road turns into Main Street. We will meet in the parking lot at the corner of Main and Hart Road. If you come as a guest you will be ask to sign a Schaumburg Bike Club waiver. You can only ride once as a guest. The membership is very cheap. Only $20.00 a year for a single membership.
Bring your water bottle, helmet and be on your bike and ready to ride at 9:00 AM please. Also make sure you have the name and phone number of who to call in case of an emergency on your body somewhere.
