Kline Creek ’’Triangle’’ Ride
May 22, 2021
9:30 AM

Join us for a ride on the "triangle" from Kline Creek Farm. We'll ride the Great Western Trail to Villa Park and the Illinois Prairie Path for the return leg. The route is mostly limestone. Distance will be 22 miles. The outbound leg is simple and straightforward if you want to turn around sooner. This is a mostly flat route except for a couple of railroad overpasses. This is a causal speed ride. No one will be left behind.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.

We'll pass the "French Market" in Wheaton. We won't be stopping. But if anyone wants to stop and shop the market it is easy to get back to Kline Creek. Maps/directions will be available.

Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Bring a mask to use restrooms. We'll practice appropriate social distancing when not riding. Fountains will probably be disabled so bring enough water.

Starting Location:
Kline Creek Farm (1N600 County Farm Road, West Chicago) Take Barrington Road south and it becomes County Farm Road. Farm/preserve is on the right after you cross Rt 64/North Ave. About 30 minutes from Schaumburg.
